How To Create Custom Report in Google Analytics

Hello friends..!!! How are you doing? Hope everything is going very well. Today i am not going to share any directory list or bookmarking sites. This time i am going to share my ideas and views about how to create custom report in Google analytics. I believe that internet marketing or SEO/SMO experts has great knowledge about each & every functionality of Google analytics, but i hope it will helpful for beginners or who has not get interacted with it. So let me start.

1. First of all sign in to Google analytics account and go through the Custom report tab on the top navigation as like in below image.

2. Click on "New Custom report" and it will go to the custom report form as like in below image.

3. Now let me start filling appropriate things in blanks.

Title - Give a name to the report as like i gave "Visits from Chandigarh".
Report Tab - Fill up a report tab name as like me "Visits" and after that select report type "Explorer" OR "Flat Table". Explorer has hierarchy of data table where Flat Table show all data in single table. I selected Explorer.
Metric Groups & Dimension - Select metrics groups & dimension according to your wish.
Filters - You can also add filters to your profile as like below image, but it is optional

Next go to the profiles option if you want to apply same report to another profiles in your account. It is also optional.

Now save your report you have done it. Your custom report will look like as below image.
